Description from developers
AntiLogger attempts to provide your computer with a different layer of security from other similar products. By operating as an active defense, as opposed to a reactive one, this program thinks it could be the answer to your problems.
This program has a simple interface that is very easy to understand. While AntiLogger takes care of complicated tasks such as detecting and isolating keystroke monitoring bugs, screen-capture-making viruses, and other unwanted attackers, users are given simple choices that make defense easy. You can run only certain defenses or choose from a brief list of customizations. And, when new programs are downloaded, AntiLogger goes to work assessing its danger and giving users the option to disallow its download. This is a fantastic addition that makes the potentially dangerous world of downloads slightly less risky.
Overall, the limited flexibility makes this an ideal program for all level of users. Those used to the look of traditional security programs, which show how many files have been scanned and how long you have until completion, may not like the static look of AntiLogger, but users who just want to know things are being taken care of without too much effort on their part will like what this 21-day trial program puts on the table.

Today we are reviewing AntiLogger 1.9.2.243 by Zemana Information Technologies.
So we run the installation file, choose the setup language and see the welcome screen informing us about what is going to be installed. We click ‘Next’ and see EULA, that we read carefully and click ‘Next’ as the ‘I accept the terms of the license agreement’ is already marked. The next screen suggests us the place where AntiLogger is going to be installed, we are satisfied with the default one, so click ‘Next’. The next screen is the final one, though it tells us that there is going to be some kind of configuration after it. We click ‘Next’ and installation process begins. Few seconds later we see the final screen informing us about the successful ending of the installation process. Leaving the item ‘Run AntiLogger now’ we click ‘Finish’. Pretty easy, 8 points in ‘Installation Easiness’ section.
What we see next is AntiLogger’s main screen telling us that our computer is now protected and no further
action is needed. The interface looks pretty nice – the window is split into two sections, the left one contains three categories (‘Protection Console’, ’Management Console’ and ‘Services’) with the drop-down lists of their subcategories, the right one shows their content. There are also three round buttons at the top side of the window: ‘Settings’, ‘About’ and ‘Help’ that we will talk about later. Everything looks nice and user-friendly. The ‘Protection Console’ consists of 5 blocks: ‘Anti-KeyLogger’, ‘‘Anti-ScreenLogger’, ‘Anti-WebcamLogger’, ‘Anti-ClipboardLogger’ and ‘System-Defence’. The names of the blocks are clear and self-explanatory, so as their management – in order to turn off the chosen type of protection one needs to choose the corresponding block and click ‘Stop’ button, in order to turn protection on again – click ‘Start’ in the same window.
As mentioned above there are also three round buttons above the main section of AntiLogger, namely: ‘Settings’, ‘About’ and ‘Help’. The first one allows us to configure almost everything: starting from the language and updates and ending with reactions on the modules with certificates from Microsoft and ability to password protect the program interface.
Now let’s talk about protection mechanisms. Every
time a keylogger tries to intercept information ‘Zemana AntiLogger – Security Alert’ screen appears. The screen contains detailed information about what module is trying to intercept what kind of information. It also shows what application is using this module and (if possible) the company this application belongs to. When the specified above screen appear one chooses either to ‘Allow’ or ‘Block’ this module. It also can mark ‘Create rule’ box in order AntiLogger to memorize the action chosen. In case a rule was created by mistake or one finds out the blocked module is safe to use the rule can be deleted in ‘Rules’ section of ‘Protection Console’. The ‘Logs’ section the same console contains the list of all the modules blocked and allowed with a lots of details about the modules. Nicely done! Everything is self-explanatory and easy for understanding, so AntiLogger receives 8 points for ‘Configuration Easiness’ – maximum in this section.
While being in ‘Settings’ window of AntiLogger we notice the great amount of languages available the product is translated to, so we calculate and see that the flagship product of Zemana Information Technologies is available in 21 languages! Well done, it is definitely 5 out of 5 points in ‘Languages’ section!
So, let’s get to functionality testing. It looks like the tests of ‘Anti-Keylogger Leak Tester’ is nothing to AntiLogger – the program easily passes all of them! The same situation is with Zemana Security tests, though it seems to be obvious – these tests are most probably the first ones developers from Zemana Information Technologies test new version of AntiLogger at. So, 90 points out of 90 in ‘Anti-Keylogger Leak Tester’ section and 40 out of 40 in ‘Zemana Security Tests’ one. Nicely done!
It is time to test AntiLogger with our top-5 monitoring products.
Spytech SpyAgent. Despite the capability of the product from Spytech Software and Design, Inc. to counteract anti-keyloggers’ installations AntiLogger installs successfully. Unfortunately the result it shows is not as good - onle screenshots are not intercepted. So it is 10 out of 48 points.
All In One Keylogger. The situation with the product from Relytec is even more interesting! Not only AntiLogger is installed successfully despite the capability of All In One Keylogger to counteract with it, it also detects and blocks the monitoring product from Relytec at once! So, nothing is intercepted and AntiLogger receives 38 points out of 38!
Spector Pro. The developers from SpectorSoft Corporation haven’t included any anti-keylogger counteracting mechanisms to their product, so AntiLogger installs successfully. Though it seems that they spent this time on working with intercepting mechanisms as all the information is intercepted. So AntiLogger gets 0 out of 40 points in this section.
REFOG Personal Monitor. The monitoring software from ReFog Software also doesn’t have any mechanisms trying to prevent anti-keyloggers from installation, so AntiLogger’s setup finishes successfully. This time the product from Zemana Information Technologies also shows a great result – no information specified in testing is intercepted! 48 out of 48 points!
eBlaster. Another product from SpectorSoft Corporation and results are the same. No anti-keylogger counteracting mechanisms allow AntiLogger to be installed successfully, but all the information is intercepted, so AntiLogger receives 0 points out of 30 in this section.
Other points, received by AntiLogger:
Operation Systems. The program supports Windows 7, Vista and XP, so it receives 7, 6 and 5 points respectively. 18 out of 31 points in total.
Usability. UserManual of AntiLogger contains 33 pages of detailed instructions on how to install and use the program, so we even understand why there are no video tutorials at the program’s website. 2 points out of 5 in this section.
Technical support. The only support from those listed in our chart unavailable for AntiLogger is support in Online chat/IMs. This costs 5 points to the product of Zemana Information Technologies. So in total: 11 points out of 16.
Summing up we can say that AntiLogger is currently the best product in our testing. Its great protection qualities and easiness in use and installation make this product ideal for everyone except, unfortunately, those who suspect products from SpectorSoft Corporation installed on their PCs.
POINTS TOTAL: 278
